Medicine Shipments

We ship millions of dollars’ worth of medicines each year to hospitals and clinics that serve the poor. So many children live in countries which lack basic medicines essential to their health - items such as vitamins, antibiotics, and vaccines – easy to get here in the U.S. but so scarce in their own country. For every dollar donated, we can obtain at least $50 worth of lifesaving medicines. This past fiscal year, our medicine shipments served 625,000 men, women and children, at rural hospitals and clinics in Kenya, Honduras, and Niger. Since our founding in 1988, we have delivered more than $343 million in medicines, working mostly with our longtime partner, MAP International.
